Carving into polymer clay is a bit like an architectural dig - as different layers of color are exposed and the purse comes to life. Carving also gives a wonderful “feel” to this purse. The buna cord closure and hinged lid make this a comfortable bag to use, from running daily errands to an evening out on the town.
The technique for making my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses. Measuring approximately 7.5 high, 4.25 wide and 2.5” deep, this purse does accommodate some larger phone styles.
