NNR Spirals - SOLD

$300.00
sold out

Many wonderful clay artists share their techniques - one of these is Anita Long of Louisville; the work on this purse is based on a tutorial with her. The spirals are formed as a clay cane (think those cookies in the freezer at the grocery that you just slice and bake…and each slice is the same); which can be combined in myriad ways to make “clay fabric.” The buna cord closure and hinged design were inspired by my sister Megsy.

The technique for making my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses. This purse is approximately 7” long, 2.75” deep and 4.25” high.

While this purse is sold, commissions are accepted. Please contact me for details.
