Puzzled Dumont - SOLD
During the long months of Covid I took an online class with Christine Dumont of France, which focused on surface techniques. Each of these little puzzle shapes is uniquely its own. Some are silk-screened…some have inclusions which add little touches of texture…reminiscent of fabrics from the fifties on old quilts. The mokume gane interior fabric technique was taught to me by Ellen Propheter of Creative Journey Studios in Georgia. This very special technique mimics ancient Japanese metal work.
Mold-making shapes for my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses.
Measuring approximately 7.75” wide, 4.25” high and 2.5” deep this purse will accommodate many larger purse styles.
While this purse is sold, commissions are accepted. Please contact me for details.
