Canes are at the heart of polymer clay. Polymer clay canes are designs which are repeated throughout the entire cane…think those cookies in the freezer at the grocery that you just slice and bake…and each slice is the same. This purse used multiple cane designs which were assembled into a “fabric” which was added as the final layer of the purse. Both the interior and exterior of this bag are lightly textured.

The technique for making my purses was refined during a class with Kathleen Dustin at Creative Journey Studios. What I learned from this remarkable artist continues to impact my purses. This purse uses a metal frame so that it accommodates larger phones and measures approximately 8” long, 2” deep, 4.75 “ high.

While this purse is sold, commissions are accepted. Please contact me for details.
